Investment Associate & ADA Coordinator at Ohio Arts Council

Kim Turner joined the OAC staff in August 1998 as an assistant to the program coordinators. In September 1999, she became a grants coordinator, where she assisted organizations as they completed the application process and provided technical assistance for the OAC’s OnLine Grants Application system. In August 2005, Ms. Turner became the southwest region program coordinator and shortly thereafter the accessibility coordinator. In October 2009, Ms. Turner returned to the investment office as a grants coordinator where she continues to assist organizations and individual artists as well as maintaining the accessibility coordinator position for the OAC.

Before coming to the OAC, Ms. Turner worked at the Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO), AXIS Center for Public Awareness of People with Disabilities, Columbus Museum of Art, and Netcare Deaf Services. She received her bachelor’s degree in acting from The Ohio State University.

The session will be led by grant program experts from the Ohio Arts Council: Artist Programs & Percent for Art Coordinator Chaz O’Neil, Organizational Programs Coordinator Jim Szekacs, and Investment Associate & Accessibility Coordinator Kim Turner.
