Owner of TELESOLVE

Michael R. Hurwitz is the co-founder of TELESOLVE, a business that develops and implements customized theatrical and media seminars throughout the United States. In addition to the technical and media seminars, TELESOLVE has consulted with architects and theatrical venues throughout the United States with respect to their requirements for stage lighting, audio, and projection systems complementing on-going restoration efforts. Working with national companies of touring Broadway shows, Michael is recognized nationally for his expertise in technical theatre, and has completed over ten successful historic theatre restoration projects. Michael graduated from the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts with an Associate’s Degree. He holds a BA in theatre and film from the Ohio Dominican University, an MA in History and Film from California State University, and a Professional Degree from the British American Drama Academy and Julliard.

This panel discussion will focus on the revitalization of historic theaters in smaller Ohio communities, including the St. Marys Theater and Grand Opera House in St. Marys, Shea's Theatre in Ashtabula, and the Fort Recovery Morvilius Opera House in Ft.
