Diamond Crowder is a Historian and Preservationist with experience with identifying and nominating African American historic site in Ohio to the National Register of Historic Places. Diamond has a B.A. and M.A. in History from the University of Toledo and is currently finishing her doctoral degree in History with a focus in African American history from University of Cincinnati. Diamond is an Ohio native from Columbus, Franklin County.
This panel session will be led by Abby Marshall who sits on the Heritage Ohio Board as the representative for Young Ohio Preservationists. Joined by a group of young professionals in the Historic Preservation field, Abby will lead a panel discussion with the session speakers about why they chose a career in the historic preservation field, impactful projects they have worked on, challenges they face in the field, and more.
