Brandon McCuin supports Gray & Pape’s history and architecture staff in the planning, execution, and management of cultural resource projects across the United States. With more than 20 years of experience as a cultural resource professional, he plays a key role in identifying new market sectors, cultivating client relationships, and pursuing project opportunities. He also provides expertise in the development and management of project budgets, scopes of work, schedules, and deliverables.

Mr. McCuin has extensive experience managing large-scale architectural survey efforts, complex multidisciplinary projects, and long-term contracts involving multiple task orders for federal and state agencies as well as private-sector clients. Throughout his career, he has directed and overseen numerous intensive survey and preservation planning initiatives nationwide and has personally surveyed hundreds of historic properties throughout Ohio.

His notable research and documentation projects include the Jarratt House Historic Structure Report (HSR) in Petersburg, Virginia; the Over-the-Rhine Museum Historic Structure Report in Cincinnati, Ohio; and the Cincinnati Music Hall Preservation Plan. More recently, Mr. McCuin completed documentation for the Building 35 Tennessee Mountain Home VA Theater Restoration Project and prepared a detailed historic context study focused on Cincinnati's African American history.

Recognized for his expertise in historic preservation, architectural history, and cultural resource management, Mr. McCuin combines technical knowledge with strong project leadership to successfully deliver complex preservation and documentation projects across a wide range of settings and stakeholders.
