Founder at GrantAlly
After more than a decade in the nonprofit sector, Amit launched GrantAlly to serve other organizations as an integral grant writing support system. He worked at multiple Cincinnati nonprofits in marketing, development, community engagement, programming, and facility management. Before coming to Cincinnati, he was an international entrepreneur. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and continually furthers his education at Purdue. Some of his favorite activities are dates with his wife, Lorna, spending time with his kids, volunteering, creating delicious meals in his home kitchen, and building community at his church.
In this workshop, participants learn key grant-writing strategies, including how to navigate the grant process by understanding grant cycles, finding funding sources, and evaluating eligibility. They'll learn to write strong grant proposals by crafting compelling narratives, covering key components, and tailoring applications to funders. The workshop also covers how to measure and communicate impact using data, testimonials, and case studies to strengthen both applications and reporting, as well as how to build relationships and manage funding by engaging with funders, tracking grant spending, and ensuring compliance for future success.
