Supporting the Preservation and Revitilization of the places in Ohio that matter most is more than just board meetings and fundraising.

You’re getting a lot of things right, but you know you could be doing more to make it all easier and more effective. What you really want is to...

Understand local building codes and regulations

Use your public spaces in creative ways to bring your community together

Support local businesses so that they thrive

Know where the best trade training is so you can direct people to these programs

Grow your membership so you can continue to innovate and create a prosperous community

You can learn all of these things, and more, from experts in preservation and revitalization.

The best part: You don’t even have to leave your home.

THE HERITAGE OHIO ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS ABOUT JUST THAT. SAVING THE PLACES IN OHIO THAT MATTER.

Frances Jo Hamilton - Director of Revitalization

Joyce Barrett - Executive Director

Frank Quinn - Director of Preservation

Devon Miles - Office Manager

We host this event every year to bring you the most current updates in community building, preservation, revitalization, and fundraising so that you can take them back to your communities and grow stronger year after year.

THE DETAILS

WHEN

The Heritage Ohio Annual Conference will run from August 24th to September 4th with a variety of presentations to choose from each day.

WHERE

We don't know about you, but we prefer to put on shoes (and masks!) and leave our houses as little as possible. With that being said, you can tune into the annual conference from the comfort of your couch and yoga pants.

PRESENTATIONS

Presentations will be 45-60 minutes in length. Each presenter will provide you with a worksheet to follow along with so you can make your action plan while tuning in. The presentations will be available for 24-hours to encourage you to stop waiting for the right time and take action along with hundreds of other community activists.

PARTY IT UP

We’re also hosting virtual Happy Hours and Networking events each night. PLUS - our popular Pitch Party will be happening on Wednesday, 9/2. You definitely won’t want to miss this one!

There are a lot of summits, trainings, and workshops out there. So what makes this one different?

First, this conference was created specifically for Main Street Members and community members who are committed to Saving the Places that Matter in Ohio. This isn't general advice for any business out there. Every single presentation is specialized for the preservation and revitalization of Ohio, making it a whole lot more impactful.

But more importantly, we're not here to add to your plate. Our goal isn't to throw a pile of new strategies and tasks at you, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and like there's no way you can do enough. Instead, we're here to give you just what you need in order to implement change in your community, right now.
